ABOUT
Hi, my name is Aarathy Balasingam :) I’m a (creative) director and filmmaker with experience in audiovisual media and visual storytelling. I have great passion for concepting, directing and editing and try to explore new ways of creating cross-media content. With a background in Audiovisual Media (Mediacollege Amsterdam) and Film (HKU), my work ranges from documentaries and short films to commercials and social-first content.

Because of my background in film and advertising, I’m drawn to blending different media to shape work that lives between disciplines. Through merging forms and experimentation, I explore new pathways toward hybrid content forms and aim to push boundaries.
